There are many different solutions out there that can contribute to cleaner, healthier air inside your home. The best solution to any air quality problem is to eliminate the source of the contaminant while ensuring proper ventilation. This can be done with a thorough cleaning of your house and/or renovations to remove toxic paint, glue, and construction materials; however, for some, removal is out of the question due to high costs and/or living arrangements. Either way, our products will be sure to leave your indoor air healthy, clean, and safe for breathing.
A HRV is capable of exchanging your stale, polluted, indoor air with fresh outside air. The HRV is installed as an attachment to your HVAC system. It can connect to an oil or gas furnace on the return side of the furnace. It utilizes the blower within the furnace to accept return air, capture the heat from that return air, expel that stale return air, and then suck in clean outside air to deliver it to the blower after integrating the previously captured heat. By reclaiming/recovering the heat from the inside air, the HRV will save on energy and therefore money. This is a great way to introduce a constant supply of clean, fresh air. It can reduce harmful, air-borne particle concentrations. It can also be used as a trim technique to reducing radon.

A radon blower can exhaust the radon from the ground underneath your basement to the outside before letting the radon flow throughout your home. Radon is silent and undetectable. Furthermore, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer deaths in Canada. Don’t breath radon in for a second longer. Have a a radon mitigation system expel the radon directly to the outside and thus lower the radon levels within your home. The Canadian – National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) states that no amount of Radon is a safe amount of Radon, so families with genetic predispositions to lung cancer and smokers should implement remedial actions even when Radon levels within the home are below 200 Bq/m³.
